At CrossFit Sale Moor we use an amazing system called Level Method for personal training.

The Level Method is only available in affiliated gyms & is used to:

  • ASSESS
  • ADDRESS
  • PROGRESS

Level Method Poster

This is otherwise known as Method Of Athletic Progression (MAP). It’s blurred because the system is only available to members of affiliated gyms.

In CrossFit you’re only as fit as your weakest link & by using Level Method in personal training we can assess, address & progress your weaknesses that will be holding you back.

The Level Method comprises of 15 categories listed below:

  1. Front Squat
  2. Upper Body Pull
  3. Lactic Tolerance
  4. Deadlift
  5. Upper Body Pushing
  6. Upper/Lower Endurance
  7. Olympic Weightlifting
  8. Rings
  9. Squat Endurance
  10. Neuro & Core Endurance
  11. Kettlebell
  12. Flexibility
  13. Running
  14. Rowing
  15. Aerobic Power Intervals

Level Method AppYou will get individual levels in each category, relative & objective strength levels, different energy levels and your overall fitness level which all will be available for you to see in the app.

Used very much like coloured belts in martial arts, the Level Method gives you specific goals to work towards with 32 levels to achieve in each category starting from complete beginner to elite competitor.

You’re overall fitness level isn’t based on an average score, it’s based on your lowest scores.

This encourages people to work on their weaknesses, instead of avoiding them and that is key to progress.

Every time you progress another level, you’ve proven your fitness has improved and achieved solid results. You’ll also be awarded a certificate in recognition for your progress, much like in martial arts you get awarded coloured belts for achieving different set standards.

Personal Training prices

The price for personal training sessions PT is:

  • £35 for monthly Level Method assessments & programming.
  • £25 for weekly Level Method Assessments & programming.

We hold CrossFit sessions seven days a week. There are classes throughout the day, from 6am in the morning to 7pm in the evening.
